サクラまつりの演奏終了後、帰国する矢部さん（baritone）の歓送会を現地で開催。「殿」（渡辺好博さん）の友人のSorenさん/Christineさんご夫妻のご厚意で、お二人のご自宅に団員11人が集まり、総勢20人弱の大パーティーになりました。奥様の手料理や生ガキ、カニをおいしいワインと共に堪能しましたが、残念なことに、一部に味覚に異変をきたしていた人がいたようです。
矢部さん、日本でも頑張ってください。夏に会えるのを楽しみにしてます!

Farewell party for Mr. Yabe (baritone) in WDC area after the performance at the Sakura Matsuri. Soren and Christine, friends of one of our members called “Samurai King” (Yoshi Watanabe), kindly invited us to their home. About 20 people got together and enjoyed delicious food and drink. Unfortunately, a few members reported a feeling of taste disturbance during the party. Why?
